“The Future is Degrowth” by Schmelzer, Vetter, and Vansintjan

Have you ever wondered …

➤ if a finite planet can sustain infinite growth?
➤ why political leaders are obsessed with growing GDP?
➤ what alternatives to growth might exist?

This 10 session book club is a structured discussion of “The Future is Degrowth: A Guide to a World Beyond Capitalism”, which is a fantastic introduction to the concept of degrowth.

Each session will tackle different topics in degrowth from the many facets of growth, to the many critiques, to the movement and policies that seek to implement a post-growth world.

And with any luck, we’ll all walk away smarter, equipped with new ideas, and inspired to create a more sustainable future.
